we gathered for the last time of the school year this weekend.  lots of energy and all around silliness, but that’s what you get at this time of the year.

most the time tonite was spent sharing stories about what we prayed our summer would look like as we head off in different ways.  we watched a video from Nike to set up a conversation about the reality that God offers us many opportunities to engage life and we’re never really sure of the outcome until we live through it.  this video is so powerful about how we each have dreams and yet we have to push through the hard work of life to see the outcome.  check it out.

we spent some additional time talking about our summer home mission trip – D2S10 coming up in July (get your registration in download here).  Students from last years event shared some great stories and also some testimonies of how they saw God show up.  A reminder of 1 Timothy 4:12

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

we celebrated the evening with some pizza and a few monsters (thot it was only fair to the send the students home ready to hit the week).
